The ALERA Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Program teaches your personnel how to determine how well your
equipment is running. OEE indicates the amount of product
being turned out, how much of the time your equipment is
actually working and the percentage of product that is good
quality. By focusing on these three indicators, it will give you
and accurate indication of the health of your equipment.
It becomes an important tool for lean
management, continuous improvement programs, and a better bottom
line. OEE will help you understand and resolve equipment
problems and waste that prevent your company from achieving
optimal financial performance. The ALERA OEE training program
provides you with an excellent tool for implementing 5S and
training your personnel how to measure it accurately.
